Soccer Fun

This is a picture of our granddaughter Mariah having fun playing soccer,lol.This is the first season for Mariah to play soccer and as you can see she doesn't take it too seriously.At this age(she will be 5 next month) it is all in fun.It is a big deal if they kick the ball.

In all honesty this is the only time she sat down on the field during the game but I had my camera ready and couldn't resist.They play on a tiny scaled down field with 3 players from each team playing and a shortened game.It is to get them used to the game.At least she got into the game this time.She didn't even want to play in the first game.

The coach is on the field in front of her not even aware that Mariah is sitting down.No one fused and after a few minutes she was back up and running around the field with the other players.

Another View of the mountains

This is another picture I took as we traveled along the scenic road outside of Sevierville TN.I love taking pictures of the beauty all around me.I love how this shows the lovely mountains in the background with the light blue sky and lovely white puffy clouds.Once we got on to Interstate 40 we ran into rain about 15 minutes down the road.Sure was nice to enjoy this scenic view and respite from traffic.After going another 35 miles or so we ended up in a 2 hour traffic back up on Interstate 81 heading north.What should have taken us a 4-5 hour 200 mile drive home including one stop took us 10 hours including two stops.Were we ever glad to get home.We left Pigeon Forge TN at 11 AM and arrived home in southern West Virginia at 9 PM!

Lovely Mountain View

This is a view of the back road we take from Sevierville TN when leaving the Pigeon Forge TN area.Before getting on this road we were in a 1 1/2 hour back up through Pigeon Forge.It was so nice to get on this scenic road and get moving once again.Bye Bye traffic, hello scenic views!

A View From The Car

This a nice mountain view that we see when travelling to Salem or Roanoke Virginia.I took this picture last year in the Spring.I see the red buds blooming on the side of the road.I love this scenic route except for the winter when it is so bare and bleak looking.

Here Comes A Wave

Grandson Jeremy is waiting for the wave to come and get him.He enjoyed jumping the waves.

Playing on the Beach Together

Took this picture of both grandchildren playing in the sand together.They love,love,love playing in the sand and the ocean.I don't remember our two daughters enjoying the beach as much as our two grandchildren do.
